Client is a 20 year old citizen of Mexico, born in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua. At the age of 4 his mother and father moved to the U.S. and settled in the city of Denver. They have had 2 children since moving to the states, both of which are U.S. citizens. As our client is under the age of 21 his parents were able to petition for a change to his legal residency status without having to take him out of the country. Most of the time the client would have to wait for their approval letter, apply for a visa, leave the country and re-enter legally. As a riskier and more stressful course of action, the family sought to avoid this.
The Abogado Ernesto Law Group legal team was able to file the parent’s petition for their son and get approval for him to remain within the country while adjusting his status. He has been able to continue his education, uninterrupted, and remains an excellent student. Having legal residency in the United States has now opened up a number of financial and educational opportunities for him in his future as well as the ability to apply for citizenship.
